Plogging for the Planet

The Earth Plogging campaign, which protects the environment and raises awareness of the seriousness of the marine debris problem, is the K-Green Foundation’s flagship campaign that started in 2020. In order to collect discarded trash before it reaches the ocean, the foundation is carrying out various campaigns, including environmental cleanup activities and support for action groups. In 2022, the ‘Earth Plogging’ app was developed for a non-face-to-face campaign. It records the distance traveled, activity time, and type and number of trash items picked up offline in real time based on GPS.
