Korea Green Foundation President Choi Yul speaks before a movie preview at the National Assembly on September 7.

The 2030 Eco Forum of the Korea Green Foundation held a preview of Michael Moore’s latest documentary film, “Where to Invade Next,” at the National Assembly on September 7. The screening was held to explore ways to build a better society by looking into labor, environment and other issues faced by various countries.

More than 300 people, including Speaker Chung Sye-kyun, the floor leaders of the three major parties, lawmakers and citizens, attended the screening in the main auditorium on the second floor of the National Assembly Members' Office Building from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The film has significant implications for Korean society, which confronts similar problems to the United States,” Foundation President Choi Yul said. I hope this special preview for National Assembly members will provide an opportunity to stimulate discussions on the issues raised by the film and their solutions.
